PAST TOUR

Tour Overview

This exclusive 11-day tour provides a superb opportunity to visit one of the most intriguing places on earth.  Still largely undiscovered as a tourist destination, Syria has a wealth of ancient sites to rival any of its Middle Eastern neighbours.  Sometimes described as the cradle of civilisations, Syria’s geographical position at the convergence of Africa, Europe and Asia has created a vast and diverse cultural heritage.

Meticulously planned, this tour starts with an exploration of the bustling capital including a trip to marvel at the beautifully preserved Roman theatre in Bosra.  Our journey continues north via the stunning crusader castle of Krak des Chevaliers and onto the second city of Aleppo dominated by its magnificent citadel.  As we return to Damascus, we take in the centuries-old wooden waterwheels at Hama and the ancient riches of the city of Palmyra.  We are confident that the sheer richness and variety of Syria will both surprise and delight you.
